Restaurant meals are available at the Five Rivers Café (15km) and the Mayfly Café (Lumsden – 20km). Pub style meals are available close by at the Mossburn Hotel and Mossburn Diner. Excluding the Mossburn Diner, each of the dining facilities mentioned above is a great place to have a drink with the locals.

A deposit of one nights stay (or 20% for stays over five days) is required to secure your booking. No refund is given if your booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the planned arrival date. If more than 48 hours notice is given, a cancellation fee of 20% of the booking applies.

This camp was set up by local fishing legend Lex Lawrence in 1987. Yet while fishermen love the proximity to a range of great fishing stretches, other tourists craving for some peace and quiet between destinations have found this to be the perfect stopping point for a restful night’s sleep, and thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to get up close and personal with the range of animals that the Park hosts. Your hosts are also passionate about the local area and as well as helping with your Fiordland bookings are also able to give you ideas about attractions both local and across Southland as a whole. From Queenstown, turn right into SH97 by the Five Rivers Café – the park is 15km along on your right.
From Te Anau, Lumsden, Gore and Invercargill, turn into SH97 at the eastern end of the Mossburn township – the Park is 3km north on your left.
