Remarks

Magic Murchison is famous for its outdoor recreation including white-water rafting, kayaking, jet boating, trout fishing, hunting, tramping and gold mining. For the more sedate person a visit to our wonderful museum steeped in history is a wonderful way to fill in a couple of hours! We also have our own farm animal park where visitors can hand feed the pet lamb, sheep and deer. They can take part in milking the house cow, and by arrangement see sheep dog working displays and sheep being blade shorn. The ultimate 'kiwi rural' experience! Lots of family walks, mining history, Buller Swing Bridge, swimming pool, playground.Kiwi Park in Murchison is a member of the Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of New Zealand.
